So today I go and start the Blades quests, and I get to the part where Esbern has you give him a dragonbone and scale for a potion that is supposed to give you a perk that makes dragons physical attack do 25% less DMG, or something like that. Anyways I gave him the bone and scale, he made the potion, I drank it.......and.............WAIT FOR IT...............NOTHING! I didn't get the perk and it still is telling me to bring one dragonscale and one dragonbone to him like i never even did it. What the heck, dudes!!! BUMMER!! Oh well I destroy dragons anyways, I just hate having it in my questlog after completion..... I HATE THAT!!!

And another one from before that I thought I'd post. The thanes quest for Haafingar (solitude). I have Proudspire, I have Jordis the Sword-Maiden (Housecarl), and I helped all the people(5/5) to become thane and receive Jordis, but it still wont let me collect on the help 5 people. My guess is because I already did that(that referring to me having already helped out all five people prior to talking to the Jarl) before completing so that may be where the glitch lies. Once again its not that big of a deal because its a smaller quest and it did not stop me from getting anything, other than removing it from my friggin' questlog. Unlike the first one I mentioned about not getting the perk from Esbern's potion.

The potion glitch is well known, I dont know of any fix save for using the console to ad the effect.
