every time i go into the palace in solitude everyone downstairs goes berzerk and starts attacking me. i know i havent done anything wrong because the guards help me fight but i just dont know why its happening. any opinions?

I had the same thing with Louis Letrush once; he attacked me for no reason. Just leave the cell and wait three days before returning; it should do the trick.

Well it has never happened to me, but I've heard of it happening before. Did you do the stormcloak questline?

ya i did the stormcloak questline thats why all the old jarls are downstairs. but this is the first time they been hostile

Well I've found lots of other people on the internet that are having the same problem, but there doesnt seem to be a fix unless you are on pc and want to use console commands.

As I said: leave the cell during three days and come back. Three days is the needed time to have everything reset in a cell; if they have no reason to be hostile to you, they should no longer attack you after that. Don't use console commands before trying everything else.

you keep saying cell but im not in a cell im just standing at the door thats in front of the stairs. and im playing on a 360

Leave Solitude and come back after three days. Do some quests, or use the "wait" button.
