With Dawnguard come the changes to the vampires.
I have 2 questions:

1. Are these the different possibilities?
-"human" no vampirism whatsoever
-Vampirism (stages 1-4)
-Vampirisim (stages 1-4) plus Vampire Lord
-no vampirism (stages 1-4-) BUT only Vampire Lord

So in other words, do you "need" vampirism to get the Vampire Lord transformation as given by doing the Dawnguard vampire questline?

2. If so, that would mean that you are a vampire as before the DLC, but with access to Vampire Lord transformation.
Isn′t it strange then that you will need to feed to get stronger in the Vampire Lord form. More kills in this form gives perks, as confirmed at E3.
And while you are not in this form, not feeding will make you stronger. Because then you will go to stage 4 vampirism.

Am I the only one who think that this is kind of contradictory?

Normally a starving animal is much more dangerous then a fully feed one, but if you want to go by vampire lore then yes that is quite contradictory. Now for the other question picture vampirism has a virus, and like virus there many different types yet all them have base root like a common cold could be a head cold for another human being, this is the same case for vampirism though each strain is within it own country. So in other words if you're vampire now and you decide to become a vampire lord you are basically drinking the base root of the virus in that country that will expand on your evolution as a vampire making you stronger or this case much more sick.

Hmmm, I'm guessing you have to be a vampire to become a vampire lord.
