another way to become a werewolf

Post » Sat Jun 16, 2012 9:06 am

I realized recently that one of my characters, one who I was planning to use for the dawnguard part of the dlc, was not a werewolf, despite the fact that I did the companion quest to become one, and never did the witch head in the fire cure. So basically I glitched back to being human. Is there any other way to become a wolf again? (I'm on xbox, so I need a legit in-game way, if there is one, not console commands)

In the vanilla game? I don't think so. The Companions are your only source for lycanthropy.

In Morrowind(You need Bloodmoon.) you become one if you got attacked by one, or if you do the main quest. But for Skyrim I believe the only way you can become one(On consoles.) is by doing the Companion quests.

Unfortunately like other people said only with the companions. Which is really not cool. They should had more werewolves in the world and let you gain the disease if you get attacked by them... This deserves a petition.

however, I believe that in the expansion it allows you to become a werewolf multiple times. I think they said in an interview that even if you don't like being a vampire lord, there is a way to regain lycanthropy. Probably by asking aela the huntress again, seems like the most obvious way anyway. Or maybe they will add wild werewolves, as they already have different classes of werewolf (e.g. werewolf brute, werewolf vargr etc.) in the game just with no way to encounter them in the wild.

Wild werewolves would be sweet. Although they'd have to be limited to certain lunar phases...

Give them the mess-your-pants ambush tendency that sabrecats have, that's what I say :P

That would be pretty epic, and yeah the lunar phases, and maybe they assualt you in a pack? or would that be too much?

speaking of mess-your-pants sabrecat moments, one just ambushed me from the bushes! had no idea it was there.
