Any other "Assasin" armor?

Post » Sat Jun 16, 2012 3:17 pm

Hi all,

I am currently head of the DB.
On the sneaky hand evreything goes fine, but once in close combat, my armor is beginning to lack some stats.

I'm still wearing the shrouded armor you recieve from Astrid.

But, is their any other assasin armor aviable?

I don't see my Argonian running around with elves armor...

There's the Ancient Shrouded Armor, which you can acquire after the quest with Gaius Maro as a bonus. In the Thieves Guild, you'll get a number of stealth-based armours; the Thieves Guild, Linwe's, Nightingale and Guildmaster's sets.

Well it happens that sometimes an assasin misses his target or is seen in a dungeon and that you have to engage in close combat....

but the leader of the greatest assassin guild to ever grace tamriel? if so, you should be forced to step down and do some training, you should be basicly invisible unless you let your targets see you

lol and you're the leader of the Dark Brotherhood?
Boy oh boy, standards really went through the floor after the Oblivion crisis.

But yeah, the thieves guild has some good armor, the NG set is far better for assassins than the shrouded imo.

You could say that Boethia's ebony mail is an assassin armor. You get a stealth bonus and a permanent damage spell.

Other than what people already mentioned, you could always level up your Smithing skill if possible. The Arcane Blacksmithing perk could help. Putting bonuses in Light Armor and wearing the full set of armor helps (shrouded armor gets a full set bonus IIRC).
