Dual attack stops me dead : V

I am trying to play a duak wielding dagger fighter who dances around my enemies, but for some reason every time I do the dual attack (not the power attack) my character freezes in place.
It makes really hard to move around my enemies. Is this intended or a bug? Is there any way around it?

It's possible to alternate between hands (jab with the left weapon, pause, jab with the right,pause) that results in the game thinking you are attacking with only one hand which means you can move. If you time it right, you can still attack much faster than with a single weapon. Though technically it's not a dual attack, it feels like one. And you get a rather neat stabbing attack with the left, instead of the usual slash.

Really? I'll try that, but I was under the impression that alternating between left and right was just asfast as attacking with only on hand, which is why the dual attack was interesting.

This is what I do, it seems that you plant your feet when you try to swing both weapons at once so I decided to just alternate between left and right as I dance circles around em.
