Wait wait I'm a little new to the Elder Scrolls series but are Red Eagle, Giermund, and Gaulder considered Aedra or Daedra simply because their powerful?
Oh and Akatosh is my favorite and that Peryite one has to be the worst...
No, they were just powerful/important mortals.
The Aedra are: http://uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Akatosh, http://uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Dibella, http://uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Arkay, http://uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Zenithar, http://uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Stendarr, http://uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Mara, http://uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Kynareth, and http://uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Julianos with Talos being added in later and the only mortal to become a "god". The Aedra gave up part of themselves to help create Nirn/Mundus and the races. They are the most commonly accpeted beings to worship.
The Daedra are: Mephala, Nocturnal, Sheogorath, Hircine, Molag Bal, Peryite, Azura, Boethiah, Namira, Mehrunes Dagon, Hermaeus Mora, Sanguine, Vaermina, Meridia, Clavicus Vile, Jyggalag, and Malacath. The Daedra did not help in the creation of Nirn, the races, and Mundus, and thus, got to keep their full powers. Daedra are the embodiment of change and are generally less socially accpeted to be worshipped, although, some races and places worship them openly, a key example would be Morrowind and the Dark Elves worshipping Azura.
