I would just like to say that after seven months I'm still totally hooked with Skyrim... I love fantasy adventure games, and this is simply the best I've played EVER... In 15 years of gaming!. I can't believe how things have changed in the last 10 years and most of all how well Bethesda has done with this game... In one word it's EPIC!!. for a standalone adventure and for pure escapism, Skyrim is simply the best game I've ever played!... After a 9hr shift at work, the perfect way to chillout is with a couple of hrs in skyrim. I think every aspect of this game is excellent, for pure escapism you can't beat it!.

I'm so looking forward to dawnguard in a week or so's time, I hope you all enjoy it, the DLC looks amazing, I can't wait!

I can agree. I've been playing games for almost 20 years and Skyrim is everything I've wanted in an RPG. I'm glad someone else enjoys it as much as I do.

Oh yes, I feel as though we've barely scratched the surface...

I liked oblivion, but for me Skyrim is a big step forward, from escaping Helgen to the final battle with Alduin, the game world is so immersive and with every playthrough something new crops up!. My thanks to the team at Bethesda who managed to create such an awesome game... I sincerely hope they support Skyrim for the next 12 months with DLC's and (fingers crossed!) an expansion pack as its every bit as good as oblivion, and then some!!!

Oblivion was my first elder scrolls game and it was good but from what I've heard Morrowind was excellent... Sorry I missed it first time around.

Yup. The Elder Scrolls is one of the best gaming franchises ever - along with Bioshock, Fallout and... Well... Uh... Crash Bandicoot.
