Dragon armor, bethesdas little secret?

Post » Sat Jun 16, 2012 12:22 pm

I'm sure by now we all realize that what we thought was dragon armor (the armor on the ever so famous dragonborn picture). Which is actually an iron helmet and hide armor, which can be gotten at the beginning of the game. I'm starting to think it was bethesda's little plan all along to make us think we know the best armor in the game, when really we have no clue. So what does dragon armor look like? Surely some great nerd has gotten that far in the game this quick. Pictures anyone??

"great nerd"??
Its really easy to see what dragon armour looks like, just level the smithing skill up to 100 and you can see what the dragon armours (Terence are two kinds, heavy/light) look like.

I can post my Dragon Armor in about two hours, when I get home from work. Only thing I'm missing is the shield so far. Quick Question, is Deadric Armor better than Dragon when fully upgraded with smithing? I've yet to find any deadra hearts

Yeah, Daedric is better then dragon, and has weapons to craft too, BUT, dragon has a light version aswell as a heavy, Daedric does not.

You can find some Daedra Hearts in...

Spoiler
Inside the Azura Star in the last quest of the Azura questline if you opt to turn it into a Black Star in Winterhold. I got 3 of them there. You may possibly do the same final quest with the other option, but I haven't done both versions of the quest yet.

Here is the dragon armor on my argonian.

For some reason the back bone plating on the helmet don't appear on my character model though, I included a pic of it from inventory so you know what I mean.

Quick question is smithing the main way to get armor or is it like oblivion where they appear once you hit a certain level.

Both, but smithing allows you to get it sooner and make it better.

Nobody really thought the armor the famous dragonborn was wearing was really that good. It was a leather chest piece and nothing else.

So not only do you need to work on not coming across as an [censored] when you're asking for favors, but you also need a little common sense.

The male dark elf on the second floor of the hall of attainment at the winterhold college sells daedra hearts and his stock replenishes.
