In a good Morrowind-esque way.
On my last playthrough I had the misfortune of starting my adventures in Markarth. I started over and knew I was staying away from Markarth.
I heard that the Greybeard guy would tell you about voices and give map locations, I thought this was a good way to get some experience without getting dragged into the darker side of humanity by accepting side quests from too many NPC's.
I guess I should've known I was in for a ride when on my way to find the first voice he told me about I came across a different Voice wall - which happened to be guarded by a Frost Dragon and a Frost Troll. Did I mention this wasn't even the wall I was supposed to be looking for? A lot of sprinting, potion popping and ducking got me away but it was close.
I eventually found the wall and honestly can't remember what was in it when the immediate comparison is a dragon and a troll.
This brings me to Valthume. The second wall he told me about. This dungeon happened to have a side-quest associated with it and was triggered when I entered. Pick up a couple of vessels? Sure no problem, I'm going in anyway.
Multiple Restless Druagar(sp), multiple Withes(sp), multiple Scourges (one summoned a frost atronach), two Deathlords (w/disarm shout), two giant Frostbite Spiders (w/minions) and the cherry on top - a Lich.
I had 85 arrows when I entered the dungeon and ran out. I ran out of potions. I was a lvl 15 when I started finished as an 18.
BTW, I didn't fight the Lich yet. I saved, gave it a go with six arrows and no potions - died. Reloaded and left. I'll go back.
My experience in Valthume gave me a greater appreciation for the simple safe tasks of chopping wood and working the forge.

).
It's just suddenly that I easily own anything I pass. I kill frost trolls and dragon priests and deathlords almost before they can reach me. Sneaking is kinda overpowered here.
