I've just criticized the sloppy PC interface so I feel I should offer praise for balance.

The game is hard on hard. For testing ppuoses i approached a giant on the Novice setting (easiest) and it still killed me with one hit.

Guards of towns OWN you if you try and pick a fight.

Basically... As a low level player... Almost all NPCs are way stronger than you. Only the guards in the intro training sequence are easy to kill.

So yeah. That is awesome. I am 100% satisfied with difficulty/levelling. I feel WEAK as a low level player, as I should.

This is good news. I just hope dragons aren't too easy to kill early on. It would be kind've stupid if guards and giants were more lethal than dragons at the start of the game.

I'm glad that hard is actually hard. My second playthrough will be on hard mode for sure.
