Autosave during frozen screen, no indicator, HDD light off.

Post » Sat Jun 16, 2012 10:58 pm

My game froze again but this time i left it alone to see if it would unfreeze. Anyway, it didn't. HDD light wasn't on or anything. I turned off the console, restarted and went to the Saved Data folder to see if there were any corrupted save files; there weren't any.

What I did find was abrand new, accessible autosave. Explain that lol.

Yes, ALL of my auto saves were off.
Yes, I can load up the Autosave.
Yes, the screen was completely froze.
No, no audio was playing.
No, the orange indicator light on the PS3 did not flash at all.

I suggest you delete any of the corrupted file on your ps3 if you haven't ready. Also try to play only 1 character at the time since having more than 2 would cause one of your older save to get overwrite. The game would not unfreeze most of the time so simply turning it off would be faster, If I were you I would start a new char and delete all my old save files but do try to avoid all the known buggy quest though.

How long did you wait to see if it unfroze, on mine there were times it took anywhere from 3-10 minutes.

Man, I had it sitting there for 20 min before I shut it off. My save file is only 15MB so it can't take that damn long to create a save...that's why I shut it off. I was amazed to find that it had saved my spot without corrupting the file.
