Vampire Lord drawbacks?

Post » Sat Jun 16, 2012 11:40 pm

So with the up coming DLC were going to get to play as the all powerful vampire lords which is going to be a powerful form and ability but what are the draw backs to playing as one? Does anyone actually know? Ive seen alot of people saying alot of diffrnt things on the forums often contradicting each other and so on so fourth so i was wondering does anyone actually know for sure about the draw backs?

Or is it going to be like playing a werewolf where there are no draw backs, i mean you dont have to feed, you dont have to transform, you can just change into a werewolf once a day at no penalty, even if you dont plan on using the beast form at all the immunity to disease is helpful for any character? So will the vampire lords play in a similar fashion to this ?

Most of the stuff on here is just speculation, I guess some of the beta testers might know something, but I don't know if they are allowed to say anything.
There will probably be some drawbacks if not I'd say being a vampire lord is a little bit over powered. And the werewolf has one drawback, he can never get a rested bonus. I'm not sure exactly how it works.

I guess we'll find out in 10 days :P

I fear that the drawbacks will be really unnoticeable... I mean we saw in gameplay videos that Vampire Lord has no trouble fighting in daylight... this isn't right :(

Wild guess. You'll have to be a vampire to get access to Vampire Lord. So the standard vampire weaknesses... And it's rumored to be like werewolf, shift and no access to inventory, equipped apparel, weapons and so on. So I wonder how viable it's gonna be for high lvl characters on expert and master difficulty, considering that vanilla high lvl werewolves are almost insta-killed by most things they cant scare of.

Probably not to many. Lest the whiners come back saying how unfair it is that their blood starved vampire gets attacked on sight. The same thing happen with stage four vampirism. It svcks!

If it keeps the old vamp weaknesses of 100% weakness to fire etc. it would still have drawbacks, but I read somewhere on here that you no longer get chased on day 4, but I'm not sure if it's 100% confirmed or just rumor.
So if that's true you still get all the benefits of being a day 4 vamp whilst still having it's weaknesses.

So everything is speculation untill 10 days time then eh? Well that svcks, but my guess is that it shall be like the werewolfs now, no outstanding super weaknesses but in the transformations you cant wear armour or acsess your inventory ect ect.
