Hey guys, I'm having trouble getting this house! At first I thought it was because I waning in all that good with the stomcloaks but then I ended the civil war and the jarl said I could buy property but his housecarl doesn't seem to like as I sided with the imperials but all he says is the house is unavailible cause of some unpleasantries!

But I never was able to get the blood on ice quest to trigger and then I read online that if you've done some of the dark brotherhood quests then you won't be able to get the house cause one of the hits is the butcher themselves! And I already did all the dark brotherhood quest line!

So I as just wondering if there would be anyway to get the house now or am I buggerd?

I have heard that trying to activate BOTI at a high level is impossible. Not sure if true, though. Also, about the DB, is a target Calixo, or however you spell it?

I guess being level 71 means no house for me then!

And I'm not entirely sure, I did it quite a while ago!
