So after completing Cornered Rat by talking to Esbern down in the Ratway, the next quest in the MQ does not initiate. Esbern only goes back to stirring his pot, well until the Thalmor starts to hit him at which points he fights, then when done back to the cauldron. Can still talk to him about various topics, but the game just wont start Alduins Wall.
