» Sun Jun 17, 2012 7:23 am I have a failry decent PC but no matter what I try I get very noticable frame rate stutter when turning my character.
It runs silky smooth if moving in a straight line, but turning never feels smooth and turning fast causes bad stuttering. Using FRAPS shows the fps barely dropping below 45 even when stuttering.
I have tried disabling all mods, uninstalling all texture packs (including official one), reducing all settings to the lowest (the auotdetect sets it to Ultra), monitored main pc components during play (nothing gets hot or near max capacity, especialy on low graphics settings).
On lowest settings my fps (on FRAPS) is always at 60 but the stutter is just as bad as it is with Ultra settings, Full 2K Skyrim HD textures and lots of mods!
I have the latest ATI drivers for my GPU (HD 7850 OC Edition) and latest Skyrim Patch 1.6. I'm hoping I've missed something cos I just spent alot of money of this card primarily for a smooth Skyrim experience!
Please help!
