How to fix this texture problem? : V

This issue has cropped up within the last month or so and I'm unsure as to the cause. Oddly it only effects the logs at the stalls of meat vendors that have a goat leg on them. Riften and and Markarth are all I've noticed so far but I imagine all other similar logs will be similarly effected.

If this issue has come up before, kindly direct me there.

EDIT: I should say that I'm not using any texture mods other than for blood and that my system specs more than meet the requirements.

That is a bug in the official hd res pack from Bethesda. You say you're not using it?

Use a mod to fix it, such as this one:
