Bows have been nerfed for DLC?

Hi everyone,

I play on master all the time and also have mods to increase difficulty like deadly dragons. Since patch 1.6 bow damage has been halved and there seems to be no logic behind it besides they are adding crossbows and want them to not seem so weak compared to bows. Anyway i am wondering what the formula is for bows since it doesn't make sense currently how i have two one handed daedric swords level 100 that does 442 damage but haven't even unlocked 1/8 of the tree and just one of them now equals to my daedric bow that now does 492 (was 750 or so) which i have full perk tree and level 100.

With the new patch default daedric bow does 82 damage when you have archery at level 100 and the perk tree fully done. It does 219 when refined to legendary. Then it does 492 damage with 4 pieces of equipment with 45% bow damage. Since the patch the refinement isn't added to the damage formula i believe. With the patch in place archery is of very little use now and your better off duel wielding swords or wielding a two handed swords since the refinement is still in their damage formula. So if your like me and specialized in archery you just wasted your perks and if you installed a mod like Deadly Dragons you should uninstall it since the dragons become next to impossible to kill with the bows now.

I would like to see this changed back or a way to recover my perks from the archery tree since it just destroyed my main character with 200+ hours and two other characters i have as well. And i am sure there is more people that specialized in archery just for it to be nerfed because of a upcoming DLC that includes Crossbows.
