I was decided to test some new builds a few months back with the announcement of Dawnguard which led to me developing an evil/undead character inspired by WoW's character class the Death Knight. Meet Gareth(lvl 50), former vigilant of stendarr turned vampire undead and now collects souls on behalf of Artherius and Clavicus Vile. I have been playing it on master difficulty and with the skill set he has, I have seen some awesome results:

Two-Handed: Obviously Damage dealing skill(Daedric War Axe with dual enchants for absorb health and fire damage)

Heavy Armor: Capped out at 548 Def using the Daedric set with numerous enchants that increase two handed damage, health, and carrying capacity, and decreases in alteration and conjurations costs.

Alteration: Used this early on for boosts to armor rating as well as increases at endgame(with mods that allow def cap to be breached).

Conjuration: Heavy perk usage here as this allows for excellent crowd control, damage dealing, and general mayhem all the way through endgame.

Illusiont: Fear is inspired by this dread warrior, not too mention this and alteration allow for some easy leveling.

Enchaning: obvious reasons

Smithing: Obvious reasons

Lastly, I invest enough perks in restoration up to the necromage perk for major boosts to all my undead power. This is a very fun build as only the most steadfast and dangerous of enemies(Fire arch-mages!) have a chance of destroying this dead dreadnaught at endgame. Cannot wait to see how he will be enhanced byall the vampire content in DG!
