Can't download Kinect support

When the update came announcing Kinect support for Xbox 360, I immediately went on to Skyrim download it. It took me to the Xbox Marketplace and that was where I saw the free Kinect support. When I tried to download it, it said something about not being able to download it. I tested it out on other free downloads and it said the same thing too. I saw it took up 99 MB, which means I should be able to download it and have plenty of memory left over. So then I went to double check my settings and make sure no one changed any of the security settings or what games i'm able to play. It turned out to be on M, meaning I can play games rated M and lower, which sounded just about right. Then I realized it might have something to do with my Live Membership being expired. So I went down to Gamestop and bought a 3 month membership prepaid car (and some Microsoft points for Dawnguard). When I got home and redeemed my membership card, I went back to the Xbox Live marketplace and see if I can now download Kinect support. Well, I wasn't able to. I really don't know why this isn't working for me. I have enough memory, I got a gold membership, I have a Kinect, but I just can't figure out why. I also checked the support FAQ's and didn't find any answers there. I'm worried that if I cant download this, I won't be able to download Dawnguard or anything else. If you know what may be wrong, please let me know.

Also this is my first post, so, yay? =)
