Creating a new Actor Value

Post » Sun Jun 17, 2012 9:52 pm

I'm looking for a way to save a new kind of state for actors, and I figured the easiest way would be to add a new Actor Value or Derived Attribute (like Variable01-10 or Health).

So far the CK has been feisty and uncooperative in this regard. Any ideas?

In previous games, tokens have been good for this. Tokens are typically unplayable armour, sometimes with a script attached. They're not visible in an inventory, and you can basically use them to store extra data on a form that can act as a container.

I have personally never liked Tokens I feel their use gets bloated over time I preferred to use Custom Factions and with a simple faction rank check I was able to do anything and not have to worry about cleaning up Bloat Items.
