So despite the CK coming out "soon" I decided to take the time to learn how to create a stand alone armor file for a mod I was working on. I learned how to do it using various tools (TESsnip, SkyEdit, etc etc) and everything about the mod works perfectly fine as far as I and the couple thousand of people who've downloaded it over on nexus are concerned.

Well today after grabbing the CK, I figured it'd be pretty simple to port my mod over to Steamworks, except not. I'm running into two problems that I just can't figure out.

1) When I archive the mod with its .esp I get the message "archive process failed". Despite this message the CK creates a archive file that (when browsed with FO3Archive) seems perfectly fine.

2) I cannot upload the file to steamworks, every time I try I get the message: Failed to write the mod file to the cloud. Followed by steam closing and reopening. Any further attempts to upload tells me that I need to be connected to steam cloud until I close and restart the CK again.

So those are my problems, the mod works perfectly fine as an archive that you dump into the Data folder, but for some reason it just cannot be uploaded to Steamworks.

I'm having the same problem.

In my case, I can create the archive perfectly but it cannot be uploaded to Steam: I am getting that message about the Steam cloud, too

Even if I try to upload my .esp without an archive it does not work.

All the cool kids use Nexus anyways
