Publishing Plugin to Steam Workshop Problem

Post » Sun Jun 17, 2012 5:38 pm

Hi, I created a mod to modify with relative values the density of all the grasses in Skyrim. It runs fine using only a single esp as it is purely a plugin.

However when I attempt to "Upload Plugin and Archive to Steam"

I do not get the choice to say no to add files to the Archive by hand as stated here in the wiki

"You'll be prompted to Add files to Archive by Hand.
1. Any files directly associated with your mod will be archived automatically.
2. Select "No" unless you are sure you need to manually archive specific files."

This menu pops up right after clicking the upload button

"Add/remove files to archive" with BSShader_DefNormalMap in it and two choices. "Cancel" and "Pack Files"

If I hit "Cancel" the menu disappears and I have no way to continue uploading. I do not want to package this shader with my mod and have no reason to.

If I hit "Pack Files" I get an error window saying "Archive process failed"

When I hit "okay", the "Add/Remove files to archive" window disappears and the TES Archive window (bsa packer creator thing) remains.

However I have no reason to make a BSA file for this simple esp plugin and I would just like to publish the esp. If I try to continue with the BSA I still get no choice to upload the file.

Any help would be appreciated thanks!

FOUND A WORKAROUND

What I did was, open the CK but didnt load a plugin. Then I went to upload and it allowed me to pick a file to upload and it works like it should.
