with a mod activated but not set as a master file, and then I realised that I had been stupid and the mod did not affect the area I was editing, how might I go about taking what I'd added to the world and putting it into the world without the other mod so it can be independent of it?

Sorry to divert my onwn thread, but I tried to test it out with the mod anyway, and as soon as I saved it, made sure it was set on and opened Skyrim (once with and without script extender) it shut down at the title screen. This doesn't happen without the mod but all I did was add stuff. What gives?

Do I perhaps need to open update.esm along with Skyrim.esm to successfully create mods?
