A headcount of werewolves in Skyrim *possible spoilers*

Post » Sun Jun 17, 2012 3:37 pm

Hey folks. Now, just as everyone else, I was very excited to see werewolves in the game. And while I'd do a few things differently, I really do like the way they've turned out.

Only thing is, the only werewolves I've run into were the Companions' Circle and Sinding in Falkreath. I wanted to become a werewolf the "natural" way, and let Sinding absolutely wail on me in Bloated Man's Grotto so that I might contract Lycanthropy from him. It didn't work.

So, are the only werewolves in Skyrim Sinding and the Circle? And even if so, am I only able to become a werewolf through the Companions and their blood ritual? If the answer is yes on both points, then that's terribly lame.

Yes. Only the Circle can give you Lycanthropy and Hircine's ring(One use a day transformation for both). Unlimited transformations if you are a werewolf with Hiricne's ring.

And what svcks about Lycanthropy is the fact that there are no lunar transformations. Everything else is good.

This should be in the Cheats, Hints&Spoilers section.

Anyway, you can also find caged werewolves in the Silver Hand bases, but they're pretty much dead/dying.
There's one werewolf in the Dark Brotherhood, too.

OK, so you know you are posting spoilers, why didn't you post this in Spoilers where it belongs?

I will move this now to where you should have posted this in the first place.

I humbly disagree, while sure Lunar Transformations would be cool, the Werewolf needs fixing for higher levels.

As for other Werewolves, as everyone has pointed out, just those of the Circle, the Dragonborn if he or she chooses and some random ones who've been captured by the SIlver Hand

Yeah, higher levels too. But lunar transformations for the sake of lore.

The beast form loses it's utility when you gain a few levels though, since all of your armor and resistance gear gets removed, making you more like a were-pi?ata.
