im trying to edit the ground textures and place a dirt trail going towards my house but all im getting are these black textures.....
it looks kinda like i painted the ground black but i didnt!

im not sure you can just paint the ground?

i am using the land editing tool to change the textures on the ground, but it comes out pitch black

You are choosing a texture, then using the right mouse button to paint? And you dont have the box at the bottom "ticked" for Edit Colours? Cause if thats ticked, you will get pitch black or whatever color you choose instead of a texture.

yeah i know, i dont have that ticked
