Moving the mouse causes a large buzzing sound

Post » Sun Jun 17, 2012 7:10 pm

Hey forum,

having a bit of an annoyance with the creation kit. Right off the start, when I load something into the render window and move my mouse over the window after that, the computer makes this weird buzzing sound.

Also I can hear the electrical buzzing sound in my headphones.
I've noticed this problem with some games, too, Skyrim being one of them. When playing, it's acceptable, and doesn't really cause any problems, but with the Creation Kit, it's really annoying.
I think it has only been 3D-programs that cause this buzzing.

Anyone else have this problem?
Anyone else had this problem, and figured it out?

I guess it's some sort of electrical interference, but it's just weird. Could be somehow related to the motherboard, video card, or anything else inside the tower, really.

EDIT: Noticed right after posting that if I press A to hide the lights it eases the buzzing a bit. Still, annyoing.

Mute the CS in sound mixer. Never seen this problem.

I had a similar issue with my last rig and the onboard sound card, particularly when the screen was brighter. It's a relatively common-ish signal bleed/grounding issue.
