When I create an NPC everything is all fine and dandy in the CK, but once I go in-game, my NPCs head and body have different colors, the body would have the color based on the CK but the head has this blackish color. No matter what color I choose to change the NPCs Skin Tone, it won't change in-game. I do have Detailed Faces and some other texture mods installed but my player doesn't have the problem with this, only with my new NPC I'm making.

Any ideas?

The advice is always to remove mods before you start modding. Even if that ends up not being the problem, at least you are sure it is not the problem.

Did you try the (very easy and quick) RedBreton New Race tutorial, from the wiki? That appears to mimic what you are trying to do ... Does that tiutorial work?

I didn't follow the tutorial when I made this, I kind already knew form previous games but I'll follow it and remove the mods to see if the same issue comes up.

But that only works for COPIED NPCs
Two posts below the one linked, Joel says they are working on a bug with completely new NPCs
So, reading between the lines ... New NPC Creation is bugged/not working ... there is a work around for Copied NPCs
