Where is the Creation Kit!

Post » Mon Jun 18, 2012 6:35 am

Guy's i really can't find it on steam. I've looked in tools but it isn't there. I also know that it is just called Creation Kit but it just isnt there. I've looked on the web to see why it isn't there and every one just said to restart steam which i did several times. I don't actually own skyrim on steam, so would i need that for it to turn up?? Really appreciate if you guy's could help me.

Thanks Lwidd1

It's in your Tools on Steam. Open up your Library and click on the text where it says "All Games" and then from the drop down menu select "Tools". :)

Well... yes, you can't download the CK without owning a legal copy of Skyrim.

I think you have to have bought it from steam, but I'm not sure. Also if I understand correctly, if it is an "illegal" copy, the Creation Kit won't show up because it isn't associated with steam.

It doesn't matter where you buy Steam, you always have to activate it through Steam and therefore create a Steam account.

I know... I just read people are having problems with getting the creation kit because they had bought the PC version disc version of it, and not buying it directly from steam.
