Unusable CK Windows

Post » Mon Jun 18, 2012 12:18 am

My screen resolution is only 1024x768, so some CK windows are too big and i can not for example preview correctly NPCs or heads.

But worse, i can't create new packages at all because i can't even click on the OK button.

Is there a fix for that ? Any help ?

People still use 1024x768?

There isn't much you can do except get a new monitor. The CK wasn't built for low resolutions like that.

Yeah, some still use it. My screen is old. But i wasn't aware that the CK will require high res.

Well i'm not sure, if there's nothing more to do, that i will buy a new screen JUST to run the CK. Seriously ?

The problem is that there are a few CK windows that you can't resize... So I honestly don't know what you could do.

and I'm not suggesting you buy a new monitor just for the CK, I'm suggesting you buy a new monitor so you won't have to use outdated technology anymore.

Ok, thanks anyway.

I would like though that an "official" (moderators or devs) confirm that, and say which is the minimum res required ?

The minimum screen resolution is 1280x1024 for the CK.

I know it's not exactly the cheapest (or even the best) monitor but it at least has one HDMI port and 1920x1080. And $200 is actually pretty good for a HDMI monitor. I know there are even cheaper ones but most of them have uneven backlighting (eye-strain city) or lack modern ports for video card support.
