Hello!
I'm having some trouble creating Character Presets. If I take an existing NPC's face and change it, and then click 'Is preset' how do I then remove the changes to that NPC?
I think I'm going about it the wrong way and would appreciate some help.

Duplicate the NPC and THEN modify that duplicate. Easy peasy. Just remember to remove any references to the duplicate.

Although I should note simply clicking "ischargenpreset" does not seem to make them a char gen preset.

Another question as I'm not sure about this. If I modify a skin tone preset, such a DarkSkin04 on my NPC, does it edit ALL npc's with that skin shade?

Also need to drag that preset npc into the presets tab for that race.

And yes, modifying the tone preset would affect others, it would be better to make a new color preset, yes?

Where do I find this? I figured I needed to create an entirey new one, so I cloned a preset and modified it. Still doesn't show up. What am I supposed to drag it into?

Do you mean if I edit it within the window for my char it would edit all of them, or if I find the skin tone somewhere else and edit it?

You got me worried as I released a Mjoll mod with edited tones and Tattoo colours, I deactivated the mod and checked and the tones/warpaint seem to be the same.
Could you elaborate Throtlekitty?

It's the last tab on the right in the Race window, "Preset NPCS"

Oh, I was wrong, sorry. Editing the color for an NPC doesn't overwrite the base ColorForm preset, just adds that color to that NPC's record.
