HUGE bug with WorkshopDownloading, BETHESDA PLEASE READ

Post » Sun Jun 17, 2012 11:18 pm

If you have 51 mods or more subscribed, you get a "Failed to Enumerate files" error upon opening the skyrim launcher. You can't download/update anything! You're limited to 50 mods!

Please fix this ASAP! D:

Have you tried unsubcribing from a few mods first?

I'm not sure how that would fix the problem. If you go to under 50, yes, it works just fine, but that doesn't fix anything. Unsubscribing forces the mods off in the launcher and you have to manually turn them back on, not to mention unsubscribing, you know, obliterates the whole purpose of using the workshop to begin with.

not really a matter of fixing it, so much as verifying that that 50 is a problem :)

Well, yes, 50 is definitely the problem. That is why I Said "51 or more". If you have 50, it works. If you subscrube to one more, it doesn't.

I don't think you understand what he/she is saying. I think what he/she means is that you might have a mod that is screwing with the system causing the error and to try and remove a few and try another and see if those few you removed were the cause.

I don't think YOU understand how that's not even close to possible.

I have. Fifty. Mods. Subscribed. Right. Now.

If I add one more- ANY SINGLE MOD- it stops working. *any* mod. It's not that I'm trying to subscribe to one additonal mod that just happens to break the whole thing, it's that I'm trying to subscribe to another mod *in general*. Not to mention the most recently subscribed mod is loaded last, not first, and therefore an error wouldn't show up the second you open the launcher from a newly added mod if it were the fault of the mod itself.

I asked because it wasn't clear whether or not from your initial post. No need to get angry over troubleshooting questions, I'm not trying to undermine your intelligence or point fingers here.
