Creation kit bug with sound descriptors

Post » Mon Jun 18, 2012 2:10 pm

Hi, found a bug when creating a new sound descriptor and importing a new sound.
The creation kit adds a "/" at the begining of the string path of the wav file ( it displays "/data" instead of "data", then the sound doesn't play.

I removed the "/" with TESVSNIP and it worked.

I hope it will be corrected in the next patch !

Thanks !

How were you able to get the sound to be imported into Sound Descriptor in the first place? Every time I try to add a NEW sound WAV files It get an error: "Invalid Directory".

EDIT: Disregard. I'm such a noob. There's a BSA archive application included with Skyrim.

THANK YOU!!! I was having the hardest time figuring out why sounds I added via the CK weren't playing in-game. Using TESVSNIP to remove the "\" fixed it!
