How do I get my campsite I made to show up on the map?

How do I get my campsite I made to show up on the map? I have made it, and it works in game, but I just want it to be on the map so that I can fast travel to it, and find it easily.

In past games, you'd need to place an XMarkerHeading and set it up to be a fast travel marker.

I can open up the CK and see how they're doing it now, but I doubt that would have changed.

You need to place a map marker, just look at an original one (the ones in front of dungeons are the easiest to find.)

There should be a little box with an M in it on the toolbar. That is a map marker. You can drag and drop and rename it and it should appear ingame map.

Phinius, in the GECK you couldn't turn a regular xmarkerheading into a map marker as far as I'm concerned - maybe that was from the CS?

@PaladinRider: The only box with an M in the toolbar is the multibound-box button.

The Map Marker is under WorldObjects/Static

Hi,

1) Add a MapMarker to your camp site.
2) Go to its Marker Data tab, activate Marker Data, and change its Name ( it will be the name shown on the map ) and its type ( it will be the icon shown on the map )
3) Add a COCMarkerHeading where you want the player to appear when he use the fast travel.
4) Go into the MapMarker tabs again, be sure your render window shows the COCMarkerHeading, then select the linked ref tab, add a new reference, select your COCMarkerHeading by double clicking on it when cursor is white, and close the MapMarker tabs with the ok button.

That's all.
