There were many, many Oblivion quests that could interrupt the player while waiting or sleeping under specific conditions, and many mods made use of them. However, I don't see any clearly marked way to do that here in Skyrim, which is bad news for the mod I'm currently working on.

I've looked through the wiki on acomplishing, and only found a console command called "WakeUpPC" with no description whatsoever. So I'm wondering if anyone has found out how this can be done yet.

In the Dark Brotherhood questline the player is woken up and brought to another location. Maybe you could look in to those scripts?
