Realese your exporter for skyrim. I know this wasnt done for any of the games, please make this one the exception. With the construction kit I feel like im being offered a new care, but the key wasnt included. Im fairly sure beth use 3dsmax, why not release the plugins?

I have a MASSIVE respect for the guys creating nifscope and user made exporter/readers, but these "keys" feel more like hotwiring the car. Copying to existing nif files and changing cryptic numbers just to get a simple model into the game, and I have yet to find a way of creating collision meshes (the new "compressed" format).

Please, please me/us =D

They did, actually, release their exporter for the 3ds back in the days of Morrowind.

However, I have a feeling that with the addition of the use of Havok in their meshes, they legally aren't allowed to. Of course, I don't know for certain, but I find it likely that they licensed the use of havok in such a way that they weren't allowed to redistribute the exporters for it. Just a guess, anyways.

I have to agree with you there, in fact, I'm 99% sure they can't due to licensing issues.

Its just strange that they havent made any official comment on this. If offering the exporter would cause legal problems, wouldnt editing nif files with "user made programs" be illigal too?
