Reset perks for 360PS3 owners DLC

Post » Mon Jun 18, 2012 5:23 pm

I think it would be a great option for there to be a way to give back all perks so they can be reassigned. This was done in Dragon Age 2 through a potion, and it was in DLC that came with game if you pre-ordered. Many of us do not know what we are doing in the beginning when we first play or how certain mechanics will work exactly.

There is one potion that lets you changed your toon's six in Fable 2 as well. If they allowed you to respec your perks and character that is an amazing deal for January's patch 1.4!

Yeah Dragon Age 2 might have had one, but it was pointless as the game had bugger all content to actually bother reperking.

The reason for not having it in this game is simple; To make you replay it. If they dished out re-specs you would have less reason to replay the game. Think about it, your first character is learning and exploring the game and its system. When you do "get it", you WANT to restart so you can do it better a 2nd time around. When you then learn what perks you wont use for that char, then you think about replaying with a different one to make use of those other perks.

Its human nature.

Asking us to pay money for a feature that should have been in the game is insulting to say the least. If it is part of another, larger DLC then maybe, but as a stand alone dlc? no thanks you.

I see your point. But it's not like I'll get less replay value if I can reset perks, some people do not like to start all over after putting in 80+ hours. I have two characters one is an assassin type the other is a mage. So there is still a lot to be played.

Since the perks are new to the series in Skyrim, I don't think there's anyone that really new how certain mechanics would work.
