love the game, gutted by the glitches

first of all, love the game. I have played all elder scrolls games and this has set a new benchmark.

BUT.........

I am currently level 66 and I have at least 10 separate quests with glitches. I'm picking up skill books and not getting the level up for. I can't talk to active quest persons activate things inside quests. I'm about ready the break the disc in half an throw it out my window.

the companion quest doesn't work. The repairing the pupil quest didn't respond to collecting all items
the revive a reading from Olivia the feeble. The markarth prison quest is stuck in a loop, meaning I can't do any other quests in that town. And the list goes on.

seriously WTF,

I NEED SOME FEEDBACK, AND UPDATE OR ANYTHING THIS GAME SET ME BACK $120 and I can't do anything. I'm about to go through and kill every NPC in this game and burn the disc.

for the quality of you previous games I expect more from you

Skill books only give a set amount to a skill, if you have a high level skill and it just leveled up and you read a skill book you'll only gain a portion of the level instead of a full level like if you had a low skill and picked up a skill book.

I'm pretty sure Skill books should always give you one full skill level increase, unless you've maxed that skill out.

Or you can benefit from a given book only once, no matter how many copies of it you find, wich differ from fallout where multiple copies would grant multiple upgrades

Each skill book will give you one full point, but only if you have never read that book before reading another book called the same name doea nothing, like galoyal said. As for the Olava the Feeble reading thing I would suggest waiting until shop hours and keep pressing A when near her to see if that works.

You're not the only one that loves the game but is seriously annoyed at their complete lack of any quality control. After several games, you'd think they'd have learned by now, but no. The 11/11/11 release date was clearly the priority, not making sure the game was actually in a fit state to release.

What part of the companions quest are you having issues with?

For Repairing the Phial, if you have Briar Hearts in your inventory when you get the quest it will most likely bug it out and wont count those that are already in your inventory (my best guess is that the game points you to specific Forsworn for their Hearts)

I dont know about the other quests off hand but 1.4 should be out soon and it carries quite a few bug fixes (though some may or may not be retroactive)
