How to get your mod noticed

Post » Mon Jun 18, 2012 5:41 pm

What would be a good way to get my mod more noticed? So far I only have three. One gives Mehrunes' Razor 100% of instant kill, another gives a 10% kill with 20 damage to self (for those who like balance), and one that makes vampires take damage in sunlight (still under construction). I think these are decent mods, but they aren't very popular. I mean, I'm not expecting 1000+ subscribers, but 8? C'mon!

Post in the mods forum, upload where possible, put your mod in your sig, help out where you can. Good mods get popular, bad ones don't (usually).

There is no mod popularity dogma. But this honestly isn't a CK question.

Make something epic that requires more than a minute to make.

Spend some time.

"If you build it, they will come..."

There's a reason that people spend hundreds of hours on mods. (It's usually not because they're bored).

Does it really matter? You should mod for yourself not for others. There is no People's Choice Awards for modding. ;)

Make something epic that requires more than a minute to make.

Or fills a niche that people want but isn't well represented.
