Since I've starting using the Lover's stone, I can't get any rest! And no, I don't mean that I've suddenly become any more irresistible than before, and am spending all my nights doing the nasty! I mean that I no longer get rested or well-rested, no matter how long I sleep! Is this a bug?

Wait! Maybe I've answered my own question! Maybe once I click the Sleep button, I am really taking to bed any and all that have taken my fancy! Maybe that's why Lydia won't stay out of my bedroom! What are your thoughts?

Maybe check to see if your rested/well rested bonus has actually worn off before you are sleeping again.

it's not a bug. i noticed this too after i started using the lover stone for the 15% bonus. i went and checked on the skyrim wiki and it said on there that using the lover stone overrides / keeps you from gaining rested or well rested buffs.

I think that's one of the side-effects of the Lover#s Stone, that it gives a permanent 15% increase of skill improvements at the cost of the 10% that sleeping gives for 8 hours.

I guess they wanted to avoid 25% skill increases

OH HO. I was wondering about that... well this is very welcome news.
But... why leave it in for the Warrior/Mage/Thief stones? That'd be a 30% increase (which I take advantage of all the time)... seems to be either a bug, or a poorly thought out idea. Bethesda should save face, call it a bug and fix it.

Either that, or use my reasoning why you can't get rested while under the influence of Lovers stone

Good info I have been having the same issue as well. Guess you really wouldn't get much rest if your getting that much lovin at night.

Because the 30% is focussed on 6 skills, whereas the 25% would be on all 18. Sounds balanced to me.
