Night Mother Loop : V

Boy, when they said "Dark Brotherhood ForEVER" they weren't kidding!

Every time I complete another contract for the Night Mother and return to her, I want to yell at the screen when she starts with, "Yet another child......"

Does this go on for EVAH? When will it end/change?

You don't have to do the quests as soon as you get them. The Night Mother is very patient.

I wish at some points you could hand out the contracts to some of the other members of the Brotherhood and take a share instead of always having to do them yourself.

It feels like a curse to have to go through this over and over and OVER... The fact there is no way to actually complete it is a very, VERY poor design choice. I just hope someone will design a MOD to wipe this stupid quest off.

It's just a radiant quest. You beat the story, so now you can just accept the stream of contracts.

What WOULD be silly is if it stopped. Simply because you finished the quest, no one will summon the Dark Brotherhood any longer? I think not.
This allows the player to feel that the world didn't just suddenly stop. But quests are still comming in from blood hungry citizens.
It could be executed better. Such as giving quests to those under you, but taking it All away...that doesn't seem good now at all.

its a great way to make money especially for those that finished the dark brotherhood really early in their chracters life as its 1K per kill and most of the kills are in easy spots ( I have had one in Dragons reach keep and one in the blue palace those were a pain the do with out getting a bounty).

If you want things done right, do them yourself? *shrug* I never do the DB stuff - I wipe them off the face of Skyrim.

And I do kind of sit on them, going back to them when I'm tired of other stuff.
I was just hoping these quests might evolve somehow; it seems like Markarth is a real hotbed of restless servants.
