How are "Augmented FlamesFrostShock" perks tied to s

Looking at Augmented Flames, Augmented Frost and Augmented Shock perks in CK I see how they work in general (entry point, modify spell magnitude), but I can't see how they are restricted to only affecting their respective element. I looked at the perks' conditions, various spells, various spell effects, and keywords, and found nothing that would stop Augmented Flames from improving frost and shock spells as well.

How is this restriction set in place?

Thanks in advance!

Right click the perk -> edit -> Under perk entries right click Mod Skill Magnitude Line (should be the only line) -> edit

Under Conditions click the spell tab -> In the function Item column you will see keyword: X, where X is the keyword of the Magic Effect(s) to modify.
