Hey I'm having trouble finding the cave piece that you use for giant spider encounters. Its the ceiling piece that is a giant shaft that the spider comes down from. Does anyone know which piece that is?

You mean fxspiderwebshaft

If you can find a specific piece by mere scanning, use the filter in the Object Window.

I did use the filter and I found fxspiderwebshaft but that is just the web. I need the actual hole in the ceiling thats part of the cave kit.

The hole in the ceiling is actually just an absence of ceiling tiles.
If you want to put something around the hole/fxspiderwebshaft, just look for "shaft" or "shafttop" or "shaftbottom". Those aare not going to snap to the ceiling, but you can unlock the grip snap and place them on top. You can use one of those shafts used for spiral stairs.

When in doubt, check the use info and follow it to where it's used. I just looked at its blachreach use and there is no actual shaft, it's just the web shaft that's surrounded by other webs that hang a bit of a ways down from the actual cave ceiling.

Edit: to find use info just rightclick the object in the list and Use Info should be the bottom option.
