Can't find Edited Cell within Tamriel

Post » Mon Jun 18, 2012 10:32 am

I was connecting a dungeon i made to a cell within tamriel and placed down the entrance of the dungeon. I then went back to my dungeon interior to link the world space with the dungeon and i seem to have lost which tamriel cell my dungeon entrance was located within.

I am wondering if there is any way of finding out which cells have been edited not loaded as i have been searching through cells for an hour now.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

You didn't rename the cell before you started editing it?

Look for an asterisk next to the cell name. It may not be the right one, so keep looking.

No i didn't rename it, i didn't know you could rename tamriel cells. I'm searching for an asterisk but it doesn't seems to have any in the list.

To rename a cell, hit F2 while you have the cell highlighted. Are you sure it was a Tamriel cell? The editor puts an asterisk next to changed stuff for you. Alternatively, you could try clicking file data details (make sure the skyrim.esm is UNCHECKED) and see if it gives you the coordinates of the cell you edited.

Okay i found the cell and I've managed to find the cell by looking for the asteris. I've also written down the coordinates of the cell just incase. Thanks for your help.
