Making a custom armour, have some questions.

I've made up a unique variant of the vanilla Wolf Armour thats going to be related to Potema the Wolf Queen.

I've got a new texture and everything, and I want to get it into the game with out it overriding the normal textures.

I've done something towards that by making up 3 new armour entrys in the armour list.

The only problem I'm having is with the world models.

On the Boots and the Gloves it works correctly, but for some reason when I get to the cuirass it bugs up. I'll post a picture to show what I mean.

(Okay since I apparently don't have permission to post links or show images, I apologize)

Easiest is to just make an recolor of an similar world object of an armor.

Yes well, how do I do that?

Like when I'm in the world model menu, do I just change the texture to point to my retexture?

Because for some reason I've noticed that a few of my armour items point to the original NIF files, which I can't find in the Skyrim data folder.

And I have extracted the BSA's, but it doesn't seem to like the copied ones.

*edit*

I've managed to get the Cuirass and Boots working, but for some reason the gloves always come up with this error message.

ANIMATION: ARMO 'Armor\Potema\gloves_go.nif' has a controller that targets the root 3D

any clue?
