I like the game. But being the fated hero destined to save the universe is just blah to me. I loved playing Oblivion, as I was the monkey in the background making it all happen, I was the man behind the curtain. MArtin was the next Emperor, not me. Here, I'm involved with a civil war I don't care about, and stuck saving the universe from a problem that not ONE PERSON IN ALL OF SKYRIM seems to care about besides me and the Blades... The other people only care about the civil war and how Ulfric murdered High King Torygg.

So... I guess I want a mod where I don't get the Dragon shouts, and I'm not the one fated to save the universe, and I can happily care about the civil war a little more.

So has anyone thought about the reaching scale of a mod like this, and how to accomplish it? Or am I the only one who feels the different aspects of the game just don't blend together quite as well as they could have?

I kinda feel the same lately. I just don't do the main quest anymore, after Helgen I go my own path. Still annoying that people are still talking about the dragons. When the CK comes out we'll make alternate start mods that disable all dragons and related dialogue until you choose to start it.
