I am a Nord warrior, lvl 11. Somehow I have the following vampire powers and effects. HOw can I get rid of them; go back to the beginning, back to riverwood where I don't have any-try another race?
Powers: vampire seduction, vampire servant, vampire sight, battle cry, ritual stone.
Active effects: champion of the night, nightstalkers, weakness to fire, weakness to sunlight, resist disease, resist poison; also embrace of shadows, several resistance to frost.
Potions will take care of the weaknesses, but they always come back. I go out of a bldg and a reddish haze comes over the screen. the shrine at kynareth ?, ignores me, I can't get to the shrine at Riften as I am attacked and killed. They seemed to come after I killed the first dragon, I cannot manage the next dragon; over near a mill where I am trying to get to the greybeards.

you got infected with Vampirism at some point. Any time you are attacked by a vampire they have a chance to infect you with it. You can cure at as a disease for three days after you catch it. (Always check your active effects after a vampire fight).

Since you have gone to full fledged vampire and are at stage 4, when everyone attacks you on sight, you need to feed. Find someone asleep, sneak up to them and you will get an option to feed. This sets you back to stage 1 and you can be around people again. Then go to Morthal and talk to the town mage. He starts a quest to cure you of vampirism.

Being a vampire doesn't have anything to do with being a Nord or fighting a dragon. You just got hit by a vampire.

Feed to keep your vampirism at stage 1. Then, go to an inn or tavern and ask about rumors. They will point you to a guy named Falion in Morthal, who knows a lot about vampirism. Go from there

It's more straightforward than Oblivion in terms of curing.
