Texturing with Nifskope?

Hey everyone,

Im trying to make a new sword model, but there are no tutorials for what i need. Getting it into the game with the CK seems easy, but as of now i have the object in nifskopes (created with Blender and textured with PSE9.) However, when i bring it in to NS, it will not appear textured. I go to the texture options, but it wont let me see my texturing file. Is the texture there, and i just cant see it, or what?

Not sure what the issue is just from what you're saying there... maybe a screenshot would help identify what's going on.

Do you have a BSShaderTextureSet block in the .nif set up and ready, but its just not accepting the .dds that you're trying to set, or is that block not present at all?

Would it be possible to try and "hack" your sword model into a pre-existing one (ie replacing the old NiTriShape data with yours), and see if that gives you any better results?
