Guard Request for Enchanting Their Swords

Post » Mon Jun 18, 2012 10:10 pm

I know this somewhat of a sarcastic remark coming from the guards about asking you to enchanting their swords to make it better.

My question, or better yet statement is why not? Why not add this feature in the game so it can be yet another way to make money by providing your Enchantment services for soldiers/guards?

Yeah it would be kind of neat provided once I do it for one guard they NEVER ask me again. I'll enchant every damn blade in Skyrim if I have to. No amount of gold can compensate for the peace and quiet I'll have when they finally stop asking.

Hmm... good idea. The enchanter at the mages college has a dialogue option where you can ask him to enchant something for you but he always says he is too busy. In fact, he has fetch quests for his supposed enchanting services. I think that would be a great miscellaneous quest idea.

It would be quite easy. The better your Enchantment skills are the more money that you make. Maybe by doing this the guards would be better equipped.

Frankly I'd like a way to be able to enchant gear without having to invest in the skill by hiring someone as well. There should be a way to buy enchantments on your gear for money.

You should also be able to use a 'conjure warm bed' spell, they request that a lot too

I have a question, what does enchanting have to do with the sharpness of a blade that it can't cut butter?
