Did I do this right? (Removable Torches Start Empty)

Ok, so I finally figured this thing out that's been bugging me since I started this mod I'm working on. I just wanted the removable torch sconces to be empty when the cell loads. It seems so simple, but I pulled my hair out for days until I figured it out.

Here's what I did:
1 - Under Activators, took RemovableTorchSconce01 and duplicated it.
2 - Renamed to RemovableTorchSconce01StartsEmpty
3 - Double-clicked on it to open its properties.
4 - Under scripts on the right-hand side, I clicked on the Properties button
5 - Highlighted 'Starts Empty' and then 'edit value' (which made 'Starts Empty' true)
6 - Checked off the box that appeared that says 'Starts Empty'
7 - Used Ctrl-F to replace all the removable torch sconces in the cell with my new one
8 - Voila!

I couldn't set the starts empty flag with the default torch. And any time I see the word 'scripts' I get nervous. So is this correct?
